A little bit about me:
Born in America, bred in West London, I am currently a happy resident of Hampstead. I have been with Dutch & Dutch for 7 years, having started as a junior negotiator covering lettings and sales when I was 23. Before then I had been living in South Africa (where a lot of my family live and I have a house) working with a friend on various photographic projects after studying Philosophy and Politics at Sussex. I started in this industry simply because I love property - whether it be pouring over Architectural Digest, re-inventing my own spaces at home, advising on layouts and plans for new developments or helping our lovely clients sell, buy, let and manage their own properties.
What I like doing outside of work:
Having grown up with a foodie of a father, I love trying out restaurants as well as cooking up new inventions at home. I am a regular runner and also practice yoga, and during the summer like playing a bit of tennis or going swimming. I love travelling, wherever it might be, and am lucky enough to spend Christmas with my family in South Africa each year. For something less orthodox, I am somewhat of a plane enthusiast and am not ashamed to admit I have the FlightRadar24 app on my phone!
Why I enjoy working at Dutch & Dutch:
Not being a naturally corporate girl, this family run business is right up my street. We have a fantastic team and it really does feel like coming to work with friends. There is a great mix of ages and personalities which keeps things interesting, but we all have one important thing in common – we really care about our clients! In an industry that gets a lot of criticism, we really are a cut above the rest.
Proudest moment to date:
I regularly feel proud at work because I know that I (and we) are offering an honest and transparent service that is very difficult to find in this industry.
